For this projection mapping, I focused on the growing issue of textile
waste in the U.S., especially how much of it ends up in landfills. I
used data going back to 1960, showing how the numbers have increased
over time, especially with the rise of fast fashion. I wanted to create
something that would make the scale of this waste feel real, something
that could be seen on the direct items that are causing the issue,
clothing.
